Union Square Ventures, commonly called USV, is one of the best-known venture capital funds in the world. USV has been one of the top returning funds and has had a billion-dollar exit every year since 2011. Some of these exits include Zynga, Indeed, Tumblr, Twitter, Lending Club, and Etsy.
Union Square Ventures’ involvement in blockchain and the cryptocurrency space dates all the way back to 2011. By last year, 15 percent of its portfolio consisted of companies in the blockchain/cryptocurrency space, and a quarter of the fund’s most recent investments have been blockchain related.
