The blog further details,

After the network update of Zcash, Trezor firmware requires you to update it or you won’t be able to move your Zcash coins anywhere. From now, it will also use the new address format of the Bitcoin Cash.
Trezor also asks the users to be cautious and have the correct recovery seed. It clarifies “if your Trezor One device is currently running firmware version 1.6.1 and bootloader version 1.4.0, your device memory will be wiped after this update.”
