As of the time of this writing, the price has settled down to $568 at a market capitalization of $9.9B, according to CoinMarketCap. This surge comes after recent announcements made by Binance and Coinbase in support of the upcoming network hard fork. The upcoming hard fork for bitcoin cash has been the topic of contention, as community members debate on what features should be implemented into the bitcoin cash network.
